Nominations will remain open until Friday June 19th at 7pm.

You are allowed to nominate 5 fandoms with 20 Relationship tags in each fandom, and 20 Freeform tags. Review the nomination rules and guidelines before nominating.

I'm a little unclear, since it says "Nominations must be themed around wings. This goes for both Relationship tags and Freeform tags." does this mean that the relationships nominated must have canonically-winged characters? That kinda narrows down the available fandoms...lol

Hi! Characters do not need to canonically have wings to be nominated. :) I'm sorry that the wording was unclear to you.

You could, for example, nominate "Hermione Granger/winged!Luna Lovegood (HP Books)" if you wanted to read a story where Hermione was in a relationship with Luna, and where Luna had wings (was she born with them? did she transform herself to have them? are they the result of a curse? who knows! that's for optional details/freeform tags to guide the writer in choosing).

Does that make sense?

ok...so basically it just means to specify which character/s should have the wings in your nomination?

Also, if nominating canoncally winged character/s, must you specify?

Yes. :)

Please do specify. For instance, if you wanted to nominate Aziraphale/Crowley (Good Omens), you would need to say whose wings you wanted the story to focus on (either or both are acceptable). You could also nominate something like "Adora & winged!Swift Wind (SPOP 2018)". It just makes it clearer for everyone involved (and also means that I, as the mod, don't need to go look up canons I'm unfamiliar with to go "Wait who has wings here?").
