I picked some tags that look fun, but don't feel constrained by those, or by any of my prompts if you have an idea you'd like to write!
Growing wings because of alien devices, spores, etc TOTALLY seems like a thing that might happen to the Torchwood team. But this could also be a world in which people (everyone? just some people?) have wings naturally. I'm fine with all kinds of wings: magic wings, secret wings, wings only their loved ones can see, technological wings, etc.
I love hurt/comfort and would be very happy with, for example, characters having body-image issues from newly acquired (or lost) wings and needing comfort from their team or love interest. Or physical issues with wings: painful/fragile wings, wings being cut off, wings being broken by enemies, etc. I'm fine with violence, gore, and angst, though I would prefer the comfort to be proportional to the hurt (that is, you can have torturers break every bone in their wings, but give them lots of painkillers and cuddles after they're rescued!). You don't have to fix everything, but I like endings that are upbeat or at least hopeful rather than dark.
If hurt/comfort is not your thing, that's fine! I also love fluff, slice of life, friendship, casefic, cuddling, and characters just hanging out.
I'm fine with canon pairings including Owen/Tosh and Jack/Ianto, and you don't have to break up any of those pairings if you write Owen/Ianto; I'm fine with any sort of poly arrangements.
DNW: Permanent deaths of requested characters, including the canonical deaths in "Exit Wound" or CoE (ignore them, go AU, set it earlier, etc), although Owen's canon undeath is fine; dark or downer endings; character bashing; pregnancy.

The SSR is clearly the place to deal with wings, accidentally acquired or otherwise. It could be a technological accident, a HYDRA experiment, or something that is natural for some (all? most?) people in this world. If you go with "always winged" instead of sudden-onset wings, I like the idea of Jack or Peggy having secret wings they have to hide, maybe as the result of an experiment or a family heritage. Or maybe someone is secretly an angel or demon or something else. I'm also fine with wings being open, known about, and common, but there's something particularly appealing with these characters about having them have to struggle to hide it.
I love hurt/comfort, so feel free to hurt their wings a lot, cut off their wings, or make them the victim(s) of some kind of cruel experiment, lock them up in a government lab or whatever. I'm fine with angst and violence. I'd like the comfort to be proportional to the hurt, though - if a torturer breaks every bone in their wings, please give them lots of painkillers and cuddles when they're rescued.
If hurt/comfort is not your thing, that's fine! I also love fluff, slice of life, friendship, casefic, cuddling, and characters just hanging out.
I also love AUs, so you could go for a total AU, take them out of the 1940s and put them in a world where everyone has wings, or make one/some/all of them winged creatures like dragons. Feel free to go wild with the winged-people worldbuilding if that's your kind of thing.
I'm fine with canon-typical levels of Daniel/Peggy or any other canon pairing if you write the gen options.

I love these idiots so much. Accidental wings really seem like something that would happen to them. Or magical wings of various types. Maybe Danny or Colleen grow wings when they use the Iron Fist, or master some sort of wing-granting martial art; maybe Ward gets into some magical heroin that gives him incredibly fragile, painful wings; maybe Harold somehow grafted wings onto him or cursed him to have wings; maybe Ward, Danny, or Colleen stumble into some kind of magical or mutation-based wings; or maybe it's just a thing that one of their families has always had.

Growing wings because of alien devices, spores, etc TOTALLY seems like a thing that might happen to the Torchwood team. But this could also be a world in which people (everyone? just some people?) have wings naturally. I'm fine with all kinds of wings: magic wings, secret wings, wings only their loved ones can see, technological wings, etc.
I love hurt/comfort and would be very happy with, for example, characters having body-image issues from newly acquired (or lost) wings and needing comfort from their team or love interest. Or physical issues with wings: painful/fragile wings, wings being cut off, wings being broken by enemies, etc. I'm fine with violence, gore, and angst, though I would prefer the comfort to be proportional to the hurt (that is, you can have torturers break every bone in their wings, but give them lots of painkillers and cuddles after they're rescued!). You don't have to fix everything, but I like endings that are upbeat or at least hopeful rather than dark.
If hurt/comfort is not your thing, that's fine! I also love fluff, slice of life, friendship, casefic, cuddling, and characters just hanging out.
I'm fine with canon pairings including Owen/Tosh and Jack/Ianto, and you don't have to break up any of those pairings if you write Owen/Ianto; I'm fine with any sort of poly arrangements.
DNW: Permanent deaths of requested characters, including the canonical deaths in "Exit Wound" or CoE (ignore them, go AU, set it earlier, etc), although Owen's canon undeath is fine; dark or downer endings; character bashing; pregnancy.

The SSR is clearly the place to deal with wings, accidentally acquired or otherwise. It could be a technological accident, a HYDRA experiment, or something that is natural for some (all? most?) people in this world. If you go with "always winged" instead of sudden-onset wings, I like the idea of Jack or Peggy having secret wings they have to hide, maybe as the result of an experiment or a family heritage. Or maybe someone is secretly an angel or demon or something else. I'm also fine with wings being open, known about, and common, but there's something particularly appealing with these characters about having them have to struggle to hide it.
I love hurt/comfort, so feel free to hurt their wings a lot, cut off their wings, or make them the victim(s) of some kind of cruel experiment, lock them up in a government lab or whatever. I'm fine with angst and violence. I'd like the comfort to be proportional to the hurt, though - if a torturer breaks every bone in their wings, please give them lots of painkillers and cuddles when they're rescued.
If hurt/comfort is not your thing, that's fine! I also love fluff, slice of life, friendship, casefic, cuddling, and characters just hanging out.
I also love AUs, so you could go for a total AU, take them out of the 1940s and put them in a world where everyone has wings, or make one/some/all of them winged creatures like dragons. Feel free to go wild with the winged-people worldbuilding if that's your kind of thing.
I'm fine with canon-typical levels of Daniel/Peggy or any other canon pairing if you write the gen options.

I love these idiots so much. Accidental wings really seem like something that would happen to them. Or magical wings of various types. Maybe Danny or Colleen grow wings when they use the Iron Fist, or master some sort of wing-granting martial art; maybe Ward gets into some magical heroin that gives him incredibly fragile, painful wings; maybe Harold somehow grafted wings onto him or cursed him to have wings; maybe Ward, Danny, or Colleen stumble into some kind of magical or mutation-based wings; or maybe it's just a thing that one of their families has always had.
