I'd like to see an AU in which Gladio's eagle tattoos are literal wings, marking his position as Shield. I would also like it if the royal family exercised control over their shields, treating them like trained falcons, with hoods to (partially) blinker their vision and/or leather jesses on the wrists or ankles to represent servitude. Feel free to write this with kinky vibes between Gladio/Noctis, though it doesn't have to be explicitly sexual.

Summary
General preference for feathered/angel wings, though in Noctis's case I can also go for wings made out of his armiger/bladed wings. I enjoy wings being a marker of "special" status (or special characters having remarkable wings, like Noctis being the only one to have pure black feathers, or Luna having pure white).
I love Ignis/Noctis, and would enjoy some wing grooming or decoration with them. Alternatively, hurt/comfort or whump involving one protecting the other. I like Ignis pining for Noctis, and that could work well with wingless Ignis admiring winged Noctis. (Ignis/Noctis/Luna is also good).
For Luna and/or Noctis, their wings being a representation of their social status or magical power is good. It being a representation of the power that is sapping their strength is also good. I can go for some Luna/Noctis, or even Luna/Ignis.
