wingficexHi all, thank you for the fun nominations so far! I'm excited to see the tagset taking shape. :)
1.
Please disambiguate your nominations! This should be something specific to the fandom and is often not the canonical.
Specifically (but not exclusively):
1a.
Dark Souls nominator(s), please disambiguate "Dark Souls II" and "Dark Souls (Video Games)" to make it clear which fandom your nomination goes under! (Dark Souls (Video Games)) and (Dark Souls II) would work, for instance!
1b.
FFVII nominator, "(Compilation of FFVII)" is a separate fandom from "Final Fantasy VII (Video Game 1997)", which I'd probably disambiguate as "FFVII 97" or something of the sort.
2.
You must nominate at least one character in a fandom. "Creator's Choice of Canon Character (Disambiguation)" is extremely broad but is an acceptable nomination.
Specifically:
Catwings nominator, that's a fantastic fandom but you need a character in there!
Nothing is in danger of being rejected at this time, but if too many nominations pile up I may need to reject some in order to see new nominations.

Date: 2023-07-18 12:27 am (UTC)For example, under "Dark Souls I", you have nominated (for instance) "Chosen Undead (Dark Souls)". While this nomination has a disambiguation that tells me that it's under a Dark Souls fandom, I won't be able to tell which one. I'd like the nomination to instead read "Chosen Undead (Dark Souls I)".
Similarly, under "Dark Souls II", you have nominated (for instance) "Lucatiel of Mirrah". This nomination doesn't have a disambiguation at all! I know this is the canonical, but I still want a disambiguation so that it reads "Lucatiel of Mirrah (Dark Souls II)".
These disambiguations help on the mod end, because it means I can make sure that nominations stay associated with the correct fandoms. :)
You can also nominate "Dark Souls (Video Games)" as an umbrella fandom if you want; just disambiguate those with "(Dark Souls (VG))" or "(Dark Souls (Video Games))" or something else so that I know they're meant to be in the "any dark souls game" bucket instead of a specific fandom!
